Use F-prot, or Bitdefender's free versions. I had a interesting A/V app i was testing, which i have it listed in the anti-virus listing, and it should work fine for you.
Anti-Vir Personal Edition - Completely FREE.
If you feel you have to pay for an anti-virus app, thats fine, but there is no real need, as the "free" programs work just as good, and usually don't require as much resources, ram, and wasted time, as the bloated suites of Nortons & McAfee.
