(LocustFurnace @ Template #1, Requesting Files How-to)
To better help you locate the files you seek, be sure to include the website, and current version of the program.
Include the version number your seeking, and provide alittle info on the function of the file.

These little steps you take can greatly improve the chances of your request being fulfilled, and saves time for those who seek files. Since the first thing we must do is locate the website, without knowing what sort of app it is, we might be looking at the wrong site. Many apps have similar names, but perform different functions.

Before you post any request, check the past postings for the same request, as it may have already been requested; and fulfilled, thus saving you time waiting for a rep

A good example from a poster;

Program Name: Edit Pad Pro
Website: http://www.jgsoft.com
Current version: 5.2
Desired versions: 4.4.0 or 4.5.1
Description: a text editor to replace windows notepad

To help make it even easier, I've included a blank template, just copy this and paste into your request, and fill out fields which apply.

Program Name:
Website:
Current version:
Desired versions:
Description:

Also, Please take the time to search for the file your seeking in the previous postings before starting a NEW thread. This way you can find what your seeking now; if the file was requested in the past, and help reduce repeated postings for the same app.

Important
If you find a past posting which contains the same software title your seeking, but lacks the file versions you are searching for please go ahead and search through that request first to see if those links are working. If they are, feel free to bump it for people. Also guys, please help each other out!

A good way to figure out what version you want is to check http://www.archive.org and search for the developer's site. Check the archives, and you will see what versions available and even the history of the software.
