So I would like an old version.

Streamripper has had several features phased out over the years (namely the ability to rip Live365 streams). It's still a great program, but I'd love it if you guys added some older versions of it to your archives...

As GoSlow has noted, please read the pinned topic, as it will benefit you and us; the ones that seek files, on finding and fulfilling your requests.
I think the programmers were forced to stop developing the app via Real Networks, as it was/is viewed as illegal.
If you search the forum, there is a discussion on this or a similar titled app. I see the names are similar, but not exactly the same. But they appear to function with the same intentions.

Streambox Ripper is a VERY lite utility that will rip music from audio CDs and save them to your computer in the form of MP3s or WMVs.

It has no install files at all and is very effective and rips all my music without error. I will contribute this file, but I don't really know what version it is (or if their are any other versions for that matter.) It is small enough for me to send through e-mail if you want, contact me at

B) Very often i find new updated soft wear thats said to "fix some bugs" simply dosent work as well as the old

For example my wonderful win amp 2.7?? or earliers far better than v5.6 or what ever

Also firefox 0.8 had more of the exentions i wanted and was far faster than FF v1.01
