Since they have a free online scanner, why not just use that?
Seeing that it is also a shareware product, and cost $30, why not opt for a freeware alternative, since there are many choices, check the pinned topic here for a listing of spyware and adware blocking titles, many are free;

On their site, i dont see an option to download a trial version, just a link to purchase this title, is it shareware, or just a retail/commerical release which you must pay for before using?

Yeah looks like spywareblaster/spywareguard & a popup stopper would do the same for free + adaware & spybotsd and all these products are well reviewed.Where are zerospywares reviews. (some people are weird and might not like installing 5 different FREE apps)

I downloaded from GoSlow's link, installed it, and running it now, and the version is 1.1, which I amended Goslow's post and added the "version 1.1" part to it once I installed and verified the link.
