If you are not certain, then then take the time to read this thread, titled How to Reqest an App (http://www.oldversion.com/talk/index.php?act=ST&f=3&t=1585) So that you can properly make a request.

Audiocatalyst is a shareware program; not freeware, and makes use of the Xing encoder, which is by far the "first place" worse mp3 encoder of all time. Don't waste your time using the encoder.

You may wish to use AudioGrabber (http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/) Which looks exactly like Audiocatalyst, since the author Jackie Frank of Audiograbber either worked with Xing to release the audiocatalyst app, or just licensed the UI (user Interface) to Xing.
It is basically the same app without the horrid Xing mp3 encoding engine.
