Program Name: Kazaa Lite 2004
Website: www.k-lite.tk, www.k-litetk.com, www.kazaalite.com, www.klitesite.com
Current version: 2.4.3
Desired versions: the newest version possible
Description: file sharing program

The reason I need the new version is because I will soon purchase a mac. The new version is the only one compatible with apple computers, but now they make you pay for it. I want a free copy.

Do you only provide software for Windows?
Yes. We currently do not provide software for any other operating systems. We also do not provide versions in languages other than English.

Also, remember the site is titled OldVersion, not new version.
If you must pay for it, then OV can not supply it to you for free.
You may want to look on mac software sites. you can try here.

Okay, whatever. If I can't get the newest version, then will someone please tell me if any older versions are compatible with Mac OS X?

Locustfurnace, I also have another question. I appreciate the info on the other file sharing programs, but do any of them contain any spyware?

The only thing I can say to to check the websites, or enter the program names into a spyware database site.
I am not currently running MAC OSx, and I do not run p2p apps on my OS9 box, or anybox for that matter.
You can try this site for spyware checking based on program names. Not sure if the sites are working, worth a try though - not working at this time for me.

You probably would be better served posting these questions on a MAC forum, as there would be more MAC users which could help you.

As far as older versions? Don't know. If they did not release a mac version, you can not run a PC binary on a Mac platform.
