You can download/purchase it also from same site.
Or try one of the other alternatives.

Program Name: StarOffice
Website: http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/index.jsp
Current version: 8.0
Desired versions: 7.0
Description: Suite of Office applications

Need version 7.0 English, since it's based on OpenOffice 1.1, it should be available for free, right? They're giving away v8 at Sun's website.

Thanks in advance

unsure what you mean by free ? this is not a freeware program, the version 8 they have on their website is free to download but it is a 30 day trial software, which needs to be licenced after the trial expires that will be the same with the version 7.0 you seek.you could just use openoffice which you mention which im sure you are aware is freeware.

Version 8 can be had free via Google Pack...

StarOffice 7 was never free. I have version 5.x stashed away somewhere.
