I'm interested in ACDeeSee & Nero. Is there any way to tell if they're freeware, shareware or demos BEFORE downloading?

not a hundred percent sure on acdsee as ive never used it but nero are all trial versions usually 30 days after which you have to purchase a serial key from the program makers

I believe all versions of ACDsee are shareware. You can find older versions for win 3.x (16bit) versions here

You can find a similar title here, that is FREEWARE; Xnview and irfanview

There is SlowView, which works much like ACDsee, which is totally free.

Older Shareware versions of ACDSee were nag free.
