Just be sure you run an Anti-Virus scanner, there are many free ones available.
Download a freeware A/V app from this thread

Pisses me off when people say "I've had this or that for a long time, never any problems" because it seems like it only takes less than a month for something to go wrong for me. I had kazaa lite less than a week and it messed up my internet. Some virus or something I was told by the experts who fixed it. This after downloading a grand total of 7 files. Maybe I just have bad luck.

ignore them mate, this kazaa spamming has been going on a while now i think its the trolls at it as they know it winds people up, you ended up like hundreds of others and no matter how much they claim kazaa to be clean and good its not and honest people like yourself dont mind admitting it

ive not been here for a while but i see the kazaa threads are still piling in i was just catching up on some some reading and counted 43 threads in the last five pages/ as there are so many people having problems just thought i would post a link to kazaa forums where your problems will be answered much better http://www.filesharingtalk.com/index.php covers kazaa and most other p2p apps
