Word 5.5 Question

I've been looking through the posts and found the free
word for dos, does anyone if any other ms dos progs have been
made freely available such as excel, access etc.

No, the "Free Word" is incorrect. It is not FREE, it is a Free upgrade. This means, to upgrade to 5.5 from 5.0 the user MUST possess a valid license for the prior version. WIthout a valid 5.0 license it would be illegal to use without.
As far as Access and the rest. NO. MS has not made it freeware.
On the forum there are alternatives for these apps. Many are free.
