Is it possible to uninstall Kazaa without uninstalling Kazaa Lite or any of the files?

Try it out, see if it works, if it removes files from Kazaa lite, then just reinstall what you removed.

I haven't tried that yet but I have another problem. When I try to play something(audio or video file) it says:
"opening media"
"Acquiring license"
A pop-up box appears and says "Thanks for downloading this file.
Click play to listen."
I click play and it shows it playing, but there's no sound or video.

I do not use p2p apps. So I am unable to give first hand experience with such a problem. But. what kind of media is it? Do you have the proper decoders installed? Is the sound card working properly? Nothing is muted? Are you sure the media is not a "bomb", "dud."

Everything is working fine.
All was well before I intalled Kazaa/DietK. I got rid of DietK and the problem still keeps coming up. I have Windows Media Player so I guess I'll just use that. Oh well.
