DJ-Workstation (http://dj-workstation.de/English/start.html) Freeware
is an application for stress-free DJing with sound-files (ogg/vorbis, mp3, wave).
The main concentration is in the effectivity and stableness not in design or features. The DJ-Workstation is not a megabyte monster. It is small and fast. No registry entrys were doing an no rubbish will be copied in windows systen directory.

The Helix DNA Producer (https://helixcommunity.org/2002/intro/producer) Freeware/Opensource
is the multi-format media-encoding engine for creating streaming broadcasts, on-demand streaming content, and downloadable audio video files. Helix DNA Producer, along with the Helix DNA Server and Helix DNA Client, provide end-to-end technology for multi-media creation, delivery, and playback over the Internet.

MuSE (http://muse.dyne.org/) Freeware/Opensource
is an application for the mixing, encoding, and network streaming of sound: it can mix up to 6 encoded audio bitstreams (from files or network, mp3 or ogg) plus a souncard input signal, the resulting stream can be played locally on the sound card and/or encoded at different bitrates, recorded to harddisk and/or streamed to the net. When sent to a server, the resulting audio can be listened thru the net by a vast number of players available on different operating systems.
