If there was any doubt that this administration would use fear and threats to get your vote this november, it is certainly gone now.
"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States," Cheney told about 350 supporters at a town-hall meeting in this Iowa city.
Yes, that's right. If you vote for john kerry this november, you will be murdered by terrorists.
Nevermind that sep 11 happened on their watch after intentionally neglecting the threat of terrorism for their entire tenure up to that point.
Nevermind that the presidents awesome leadership ability was shown by hanging out looking stupified in a classroom of kids reading my pet goat while our country was attacked, then flying around the country hiding while REAL heroic people gave their lives in new york, washington, and pennsylvania.
Nevermind that the george bush/darth cheney approach to fighting terrorism has not only failed miserably at stopping terrorism, but has actually fueled more terrorism, alienated most people from our cause, and shifted the attention away from the people actually responsible for sep 11.
No, forget all those glaring facts. Just vote for them, because if you dont, terrorists will murder you. Unless it happens on their watch, then it's ok, and evidently something to be proud about. Hell, they might even get another great photo op of the president standing on a mass grave with a bullhorn.
