I had downloaded a windows version of Edna's Cookbook and when my hard drive crashed I lost everything. Does anyone out there have a windows version of Edna's Cookbook. Thanks Suzanne e-mail gingernspook13@yahoo.com

That's Recipe Box, not Edna's Cookbook.

I believe I found a site where you can download a very old version of Edna's Cookbook. It seems to be a shareware and not a freeware.
However I'm a bit confused of the small size of the file (less than 200 kB).

I found the file on this site:

We have over 300 recipes in an unregistered version of ECBdos which we wish to transfer to a registered copy of ECBwin. The conversion procedure in the win version does not work presumably because the dos version is unregistered. Does anyone have the registration code for the dos version? Help please!

Sorry to say offering a reg code is illegal.
If you can open the saved file in a text editor, it could be in a csv format or another known database format that can be converted.

where can I get ECBwin version? You can get a windows version 1.4 here (http://web.volftp.tiscali.it/pub/pc/windows/win98/progs/cucina/ecbwin.zip), however it wont run on todays computer as it is date coded to expire , you could turn back your computer date to pre2000 this will enable you to run the program in a crippled evaluation mode
