Anyone ever thought of having a Mac based Oldversion.com site for any applications written for OS X? as well as possibly OS 9?

There are already a few sites which offer m68k software and some which do offer the older PPC apps. This site is only for Microsoft Windows old version's, not even old MS DOS apps are hosted here.
There is far more freeware and shareware for the Windows market than for the Macintosh fanbase. So many of the Mac apps are not freeware or even shareware.

You can find older versions of some apps for the Mac,

Classic Mac software

http://w3.trib.com/~dwood/software.shtml

older m68k and PPC of Netscape
http://home.speedline.ca/tools/downloads/mac/

Varios Mac titles, some older versions

Eudora
ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com/eudora/eudoralight/mac/english/

and ofcourse you can download older version of the Apple Mac OS and updates for the OS from Apple's own ftp server.
