Program Name: Light Alloy
Website: http://www.softella.com/
Current version: 3.2
Desired versions: 1D
Description: A media player that is very easy to use, good amount of customization, and is easy on your system.

A confession, I already have the version I need, but it's a great little media player. I use it for everything but quicktime and DVDs (I use media player classic for those).

One thing about it that I really miss when using other programs is the ability to seek with the mouse wheel.

I'm posting this because I think that alot of people here will end up liking it alot, sadly the newest version is a flaming pile of crap. I haven't really tried many of the older versions, but this one works wonderfully for my needs.

In that case it would be better to post your recommendation in an existing media player thread where someone looking for a media player may find it.

it also would of been nice when recommending a version of an app if you had dropped a link where to get that version from .

This points towards the requested version , of course its biggest drawback (&
important to any description) is that it is not freeware.
