just a suggestion, but since nero only works through certin dates, maybe someone could figure out which dates each works, and post them on the site.

To get Nero to work, if you do not have a serial, then purchase one from the Nero website. This should make it work.

the last version of 5, and all the versions of 6 only work through certain dates. if you just want to try out the older versions of nero, you need to figure out the date that it works for. the only problem with purchasing a serial # is that it costs money, and if you test it out and don't like it, you've just paid for something you dont like.

Right, but the concept and goal of this site is not to provide "new" software to users, but to provide a place to find older versions of software people once used and can not find a certain old version they used. So if a user has purchased a copy of Nero 4 in the past, and owns a serial for it, and reformatted their system, loosing their installation package in the process, they can now find their lost installation package.
Sure, some people may come here and discover some software they have not used, but thats not the reason this site exists. There are plenty of places such as C|net for people to discover new software.
