Help with Itunes

Ok i just installed the most recent version of itunes and now it wont read my ipod...it worked fine with the older version of itunes but not with this one, and its not letting me delete itunes, i go to the add/remove thing and it doesnt list itunes

people here do their best to help but often need more details from posters,please add which os you are running ,its no good people adding instructions for win 98 if youre running xp.also always try searching and read past posts as this may have been asked and answered before.if you find a similar thread you can add to one and it brings it back to the top of the forum and gets it noticed just the same and also helps to keep all relevent information together.
