It seems that the latest version of this free software requires you to install an ad-ware program, so I expect the older version will be quite popular from now on. A section for this program would definately help alot of people out. To start it of here is a link to version 1.37 build 826

http://members.chello.nl/~jsmee/bsplayer137.826.exe

this link will be temporary and may be dead later on, so act quickly.

Program Name: BSPlayer
Website: www.bsplayer.org
Current version: 1.41
Desired versions: I'm guessing below 1.40 is fine, but I've only confirmed 1.37
Description: A popular media player focussing on video playback

BSplayer Version 1.38 will now be bundled with WhenU Save ad- support . If you would prefer not to use the ad- support ed version of BSplayer, you may upgrade to a paid subscription of BSplayer Pro which will not have WhenU Save.
Please help your fellow-BSPlayer-users to help you !

Thank you GoSlow for that link. We will add this file to our archive after we make a few internal changes to our site this weekend.

I really appreciate your help!

Hello there ^^

Yes, I did a search on the forum, and found about 4 threads about it.
Most of the links given in those threads are either completely dead or almost (like, the webpages are working, but downloads are unavailable).

Still, I'm wondering why the versions 1.38 and above are not available on Oldversion ?
Ok, they include an adware, but so what ? People may be looking for them anyway, huh ?

And latest version to this day is 2.12 according to the website bsplayer.org (while OV currently says 2.0).

Hi

I don't know why files aren't hosted it may have something to do with time and resources, however if people want the files and they aren't on the main page they are welcome to request them (after reading the pinned topic in the request forum) in one of those four threads you are talking about.

If a link is broken and you require an alternative post so in the thread that has the broken link.

All comments on page updates are welcome by Admin.

You also got to think about maybe nobody has any older versions yet for the people that just join.

As this is a post that's likely a request it has been merged.
