Winamp Question

Everytime i start winamp, it ask me if i want to update it, I thought i already had the current version since i already updated before when i recieved the same message. How do i check and see which version of winamp i am currently running. Also, any suggestions, possibly to uninstall winamp and download an older version of winamp thats not bugged or continuously ask me to update.. :confused:

Right click on the icon on taskbar go to preferences from there you can disable the check for updates.

right click anywhere on winamp
>options
>preferences
>general preferences
>uncheck "check for new versions of winamp at startup"
>set your internet connection type to "not connected to the internet"
>change the priority class to "idle"


this should solve the problem (i think so)
