I have ICQ99a on an ancient computer running Windows 98ME. For some reason I can no longer connect to the ICQ server. I thought that perhaps the ICQ server didn't support 99a anymore... therefore I would need to update.
Q1: if I install a newer version of ICQ over the top, will I lose my message histories?
Q2: will ICQ99a run on Windows XP?
Q3: if I can't update or use 99a on XP, is there some way I can save my message histories as one file rather than message by message? I have tried ABC Amber ICQ converter but once again I think there is a compatibility problem.
Answers to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated!
