automatic sign-in for MSN messenger

how do i disable the automatic sign-in for MSN messenger? i am tired of it popping up when i sign in. i want it only when i want it.:mad: :confused:

On the MSN Messenger box, go to Tools--->Options--->General and make your changes. I think you might have to be signed into messenger to make the change(s). I don't like it popping up either so in "Sign In" section on the general tab, I only have a checkmark in the 1st box (automatically run messenger when I log on to windows).
