old version msn 6.2

hey i need help with downloading msn version 6.2... when i log in a window comes up and it tells me that i need the new version to continue (live messenger 8.0) .. i dont have enough disc space and i want to keep this version 6.2 .. please help ... :)

Can't you disable auto-update in your msn settings?
Alternatively, just create a firewall rule for your messenger to block all traffic to the update server (msn.com !?). If this doesnt help you may want to try another messenger which supports msn. Trillian (http://www.download.com/Trillian/3000-2150_4-10367846.html?tag=lst-0-1) is a good one, and it let you disable auto-update ;)
