popupstopper free edition used to not have mandatory splash screens and stuff like that. new stuff is annoying. anyone with the oldversion ... that would be much apprecaited. thanks!

I found that annoying too. Here's how you can get rid of it. Open Regedit and look for the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Panicware
Pop-Up Stopper Free Edition

And then the Show Splash Screen subkey

Use the edit feature to change the value from "yes" to "no"

No more splash screen!
