All this reminds me of this site

This one will keep you busy for awhile:

http://www.deadmalls.com

A site devoted to dead, deserted and rundown malls. The one about Dixie Square Mall in Illinois is pretty fascinating. That's where "The Blues Brothers" mall chase scene was filmed, not too long after it closed down.

Yes i agree.......

And with all the places that are abandoned, they still build more and more!! (Crap compared to what it used to be made like)

I cant believe how many places IN MY AREA that are vacant yet they still build more WHICH SIT VACANT.......

Totally unreal.... Its all about $$$

But its beautifull seeing those things still standing after years of being vacated!! (Shows just how good they were made.)

America has lost it's culture, many parks around the country was based on the culture of that area, Opryland for example, but they closed or got bought out.

I have kinfolk that traveled in the early 70's the whole countryside, today it is almost the same everywhere you go, America has lost the unique cultures and it's just turned into a landscape of Burger Kings and Hardee's restruants.
