Does anyone know how to fix the problems with the failed downloads from Gnutella on iMesh (http://www.soft82.com/download/Windows/iMesh)? or Is iMesh getting blocked by the other Gnutella clients?

I tried the iMesh Forum and they are trying to say it is because of fake files, but I can download the same files on LimeWire with no problems.

not positive but i believe this has been covered before on the forums but i havent the time or want to trawl through all the past p2p threads,try searching past postings,there are not many p2p users here but many have i believe now changed over and use frostwire.it certainly could be as you have already been pointed out because of fake files many p2p networks are now flooded with them.

If don't want to use p2p LimeWire (http://www.softspecialist.com/LimeWire-513/LimeWire-download_2.htm), then try using an imesh speed up software (http://www.softspecialist.com/Imesh-Acceleration-Patch-2054/Imesh-Acceleration-Patch.htm). Maybe this will help you.

I get the new version of both LimeWire (http://www.rosoftdownload.com/download/Windows/LimeWire) and iMesh (http://www.rosoftdownload.com/download/Windows/iMesh) and used them with no problems.
