Why use a DEMO when you can try a freeware or shareware title which can do the same. Here are a few freeware & sharware titles which should hadle the tasks as easily.

Thank you for your help! I'm trying to help a friend obtain a Fulbright scholarship -- he's from the poorest country in the western hemisphere (Haiti!) and currently staying with my family. So your help is very appreciated. :)

See, I'm trying to fill out the PDF application form found at:
http://www.iie.org/Content/NavigationMenu/...cation_page.htm (http://www.iie.org/Content/NavigationMenu/Fulbright_Demo_Site/Foreign_Student_Program/Application_Center1/Application_page.htm)

Unfortunately, the Word format application is intolerable and sloppy. I've tried the free PDF editors out there... I've also tried converting the PDF by extracting the text, etc.

Thanks again

2 things you could try. On a previous thread, a poster had asked for an older version of cutepdf, which allows one to fill out interactive pdf forms. This might just be what your looking for. can try the homepage and try a latest version.
http://www.oldversion.com/talk/index.php?a...2302&hl=cutepdf (http://www.oldversion.com/talk/index.php?act=ST&f=3&t=2302&hl=cutepdf)

Have you tried converting the pdf back to a postscript for editing it?
Since you make mention of the word format, you could try a Free word replacement application also.
Abiword (http://www.abisource.com/)
AbiWord is a free word processing program similar to Microsoft® Word. It is suitable for typing papers, letters, reports, memos, and so forth

The requester, I believe, is asking for Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat creates PDF's. While the reader just allows one to view them.

As I mentioned in the above posts, there are already good alternatives to Acrobat.

I need to reed PDF files in my computer, I have windows 98. Could you send it to me or give me an advice?Hi, I'm sure if locustfurnace was around he would recommend Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php) it is free and works very well.
"Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer and printer, with incredible small size (only 2.1 M download size), breezing-fast launch speed and amazingly rich feature set. Foxit Reader supports Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista. Its core function is compatible with PDF Standard 1.7.
In the past, you have to download a huge PDF reader from another software company, go through a lengthy installation process and wait for an annoying splash window to disappear just to open a PDF document."

Looking for an install of Adobe Acrobat 4.0.x (full install, not just Reader - Distiller, Etc.) Have original license, etc here at work but Adobe doesn't carry ftp of Acrobat that far back (just the updates).

Have third-party software dependant on 4.0.x Acrobat installation and I just don't have the CD anymore...Even if it's a 4.0.x version I can license and patch it accordingly.

Any help is appreciated.

Alan.
