The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to filehippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/

this is OLDVERSION why would people want a software that finds if there are newer versions available,if people want to know if a new version is available of a title it is simple to just check the developers website.

I am always mystified when people post demanding the hosted files are outdated and to post the newest release.

Many of the people here are using an old OS. This is one of the main reasons these people are also looking for older software releases.

I believe when someone posts comments such as those, or in the case of the OP, they may be forgetting which land they are in.

So using a updater program as suggested may be mote for so many. But thanks for the tip.

You know what 404 error means, Site server down, or they closed the main link to it while working on it, could be many of things dont matter site working as I type this.

ABout the site in general it's very useful for people want to know what's outdated even this is old version still very useful.
