Aim 5.5

Hi,

I downloaded Aim 5.5 (the newest of all of the 5.5's) from this website. I am trying to uninstall it because it doesn't work at all. However, whenever I go to uninstall it in the control panel (I am using Vista) the uninstall screen freezes before anything happens. I cannot think of any other way to uninstall this program. Please help; I just want it off my computer!

Welcome to the site!

1) DO A SYSTEM RESTORE TO BEFORE YOU INSTALLED 5.5 (This will remove 5.5's entries from your registry)

2) DELETE ALL FOLDERS FOR AIM YOU CAN FIND (Shortcuts,etc)

3) Run REGSEEKER (www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm) to clean up any remains (Might have to set it to XP compatibility im not sure) (BEST REG CLEANER OUT THERE)
