WMP10 with Windows XP

I am trying to download WMP 10, but it says it is not compatible with my version of windows, which is XP service pack 2. Why won't this work?? WMP 11 is not compatible with my Treo so I need 10. WMP 9 won't load to my SD card.

also where are you trying to download from ?? if its from microsoft then may be an issue with the site have you tried downloading from here http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=wmp when do you get the error message,sounds more like an error message that pops up when you install
