Hi guys,
being lurking for a while.
the more I read the more I get confused.
I am not a tecky kind of guy!!!
I used to have nero 6, never had any problem, the pc crashed recently, I got a new one XP pro.
I do a lot of downloading especially divx movies, and burning to dvdrw, everything done by heart, a friend tought me, unfortunately this friend moved, and now I have to do it my self.
here are my questions, googling around and reading billions of post in several forums and reviews you read about problem with the latest nero version.
like I said i don't understand much with all the cyber terms that are used on the internet.
I am thinking about to purchase the nero 6 I know that is not supported by nero anymore, does that create a problem?
if I have a problem with the nero 6, can i still call the technical support at nero and get help?
not getting any more updating/upgrading, will this create any problem?
i found those 2 below, what is the difference between the 2?
Nero 6 CD/DVD Burning Suite (new product Nero 6 Power Suite asin: B00001YLLPI)
Nero 6 Power Pack (replacement of Nero 6 CD/DVD Burning Suite)

just to say thanks in advance whatever the result will be.

cheers.
and merry festivity

If you have a new burner (CD/DVD-RW Drive), you will have to check to see if the new one is supported with Nero 6. However, Nero site (as far as I can tell) no longer shows supported devices for Nero 6. If you are going to try Nero 6, I would recommend using version 6.6.0.18 (do not accept agreement to install Yahoo toolbar).
