What hardware platform does your macintosh belong to? (ppc or intel based)

Also, if you can't find software for your operating system, you might consider running Linux in dualboot, perhaps? If it's intel based you have the possibility to run Windows applications within Linux through a program called Wine.

Wine supports Mac OS X (Darwine project).
Also there is popular CrossOver Mac (supports even new & heavy apps and games) but its shareware.
