A website for rare things in general?

A couple of years ago i send an old version of a very hard to get program from a time when the program was still freeware to oldversion.com

They never put it on the website probably because Oldversion.com only collects old versions of very popular programs and the program i sent in was not popular enough.

Ever since then I was looking for a place that specifically collects anything that is rare and otherwise hard to find.

I never found such a website, so i came up with an idea of creating my own and make it a wiki so that everyone can participate.

What do you guys think?

I finished the basis for the Wiki yesterday... all it needs now is participants... but i am kinda afraid of giving the link... cause there is so much Spam here, that i am affraid the moment that anyone who is new posts a link to anything he will be labeled a spammer and get banned or something :confused:

I dont see a problem with you posting the link,the only people i ban are sales spammers and those that post links to porn etc,as you say you are talking of things that are rare and not archived here at oldversion, then i see nothing wrong in your idea.
