I am missing my Hard Disk Defrag for my Windows 95. It got deleted, by my nephew  and now short of reformating the computer again, it is gone. I have searched the net for just a plain freeware one, but all I seem to get is the runaround. Any help on this subject would me greatly appreciated.

I am going to assume you still have a copy of Windows 95.

Go to the Control Panel. Pick the Add/Remove Software
Select the Add Remove Windows Software.

then once it sks for the CD or you have the CD installed. scroll through the options til you get to the Disk tools. and seelct Disk Defragmentor.
install it.
if it is already selected, then select it to uninstall it, then go back and reinstall it.
If you do not have the Win95 CD. you can get some Defrag tools. I can not think of any Free ones at the moment. but you should be able to use these ones for a trial period, which might help some. and they most likely will outperfrom any Microsoft defrag utilities.
