Serial numbers are for those who PURCHASE their version of the software.
THis is NOT a warez, Serial, crack board.

Try out the trial version and if you like it, buy a copy.
There are other programs that does the same, that are free.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling.
Nero writes to the windows register, So if the nstalled version has expired. uninstalling and reinstalling wont fix that.
Now, reinstalling windows would!

If you need a prgoram for recording there are a few freebies.
such as CDRDAO

CDrecord

Or editing your registry, by searching for, and deleting all strings containing "Nero" would do it, but it's risky, since you can screw over your entire OS by doing it...

Simply looking for value names with an entry of NERO will not solve the solution, Since alot of the programs use a very long CLSID, which consists of just numbers, example CLSID; 3050F4D8-98B5-11CF-BB82-00AA00BDCE0B. "A CLSID is a globally unique identifier that identifies a COM class object. If your server or container allows linking to its embedded objects, then you need to register a CLSID for each supported class of objects."

so your not going to know all the keys that are related to NERO. Without knowing all the CLSID that nero has placed in the registry. It is not impossible to remove all referrences from the registry, it just can take a while and be a long process.

Actually, I've done it before, and all you have to do is search for "Nero", like i've said...

and I have done it with hundreds of apps as well.
you might have had a version that it worked on. another version it might not work with. I had done exactly as I wrote to force NTI CD_maker to re work, since the trial had expired on a system i have. Simply looking for NTI did not work, as I had to examine the install.log, which helped out alot in figuring out which CLSID were NTI keys.
This is a very good reason to keep a backup of your registry, and back it up right before installing an app. then if you need, you can "remove" any apps you installed after the reg backup.
