If you are having problems finding certain files, you could try looking over at http://www.filesearching.com .. they have a great ftp archive, and some people never update their installer files lol. Hope this might help.
The site doesn't work with me. :(
True, sometimes the english version of the site is down. However, the Russian version is almost always up. Its URL is http://www.filesearch.ru
That one doesn't work either. :(

Both work for me.
I wish there was a site that would work for me.
Does the page not load, or does it not turn up any search results?
Remeber, that this search is for filenames only, not program names.
I get prompted to download Pan-European Text Display Support and click Cancel and everything is blank on the page.
That's because the page uses some Russian characters. You shouldn't click cancel, it's just MSIE asking you if it should download that area of the world's character sets.
I tried it on another computer and it worked fine.
I don't get the hang of it!

You search for specific files, not keywords.
eg: Instead of searching for "Lotus Ami Pro 3.0 Demo" you would search for "amipro31.zip" and "amipro32.zip".
The catch with using this searching method is that you must already know the name of the file you are searching for.

DownloadSafari.com (http://www.downloadsafari.com/)
Do a search for Paint Shop Pro (http://www.downloadsafari.com/listing.asp?searchword=Paint+Shop+Pro&searchStyle=all&searchIn=filetitle&selectedCategories=7&cacheBuster=3672) to find Paint Shop Pro 3.11, 5.01, 5.03, 6.0, and 7.0. All of them are evaluation programs. They also have additional Tubes that you can use with Paint Shop Pro.
