Default Web Site Problems or Browser Problems

I w12-31-2008 7:15 P.M. Pacific Standard Time , the first time that I have been able
to log onto Oldversion Forums since

You last visited: 12-24-2008 at 04:52 PM

Before 12-24 there is another week or 10 days that I couldn't log on

and this has been going on since the middle of November 2008.

Old Versions and/or is Forum has not been down at all????

Any suggestions why I have to go for 10 days to tow weeks before I can
log back on ???????

I've been checking in at least once a day without any problems.

It's possible that you have a corrupted cookie interfering with your login.
Before you try to troubleshoot your browser, try clearing your cookies, (or at least any cookies related to oldversion), and logging in again.

I'll try that, but this is the only website that I visit or try to visit regularly that
I have any trouble with. This morning I tried both with Firefox and MSIE and
I couldn't get on about two hours ago and I just tried now with MSIE and got on.

Well, I took Pete's suggestion and cleared out all the cookies from MSIE,
Firefox and I haven't been able to log on to Old Versions Forum since 12/31
unti about 430 PM on 1-6-2009 althought I have tried at least once and probably twice each day , including 12-31-2008 fater I cleared the cookies. I have tired with
MSIE, FireFox and also Google Chrom which I downloaded and installed after the
first of the year. This is the only web site that gives me any trouble at all and
i don;t know what to do about it. Could it have something to do with my
"Host" File and if so, how would i remedy it. I got on through AOL today which
i usually don't use except for sending and receiving email.

I even try to go to "google search and try to get on that way, but that doesn't help.

Don't know when I will be back but I will look for answers when I do

I can only get on this web site when I am on AOL, then the MSIE adaption that AOL uses will get me on, I can minimize AOl and get on through MSIE, I haven't tried
Firefox and Chrome, but when I exit AOL and try to get on via my Broadband Service,
it times out.
