Okay...this might be from something i downloaded, so please i need help..my interent suddenly does not work for 10 min. when i restart my comp, it works but after 10 minutes it doesnt...but the IM works...do u kno ne thing..i really need help

Does this only happen when your e-mail program is running?

If so, make sure that it's not set to disconnect when done.

Also, if you have more than one ISP, make sure that your internet properties aren't set to use your default connection when it (or any other internet program) opens. It may just hang up so it can switch connections.

hi mate, also check your internet connection settings, right click your connection in dial up networking and then go to properties, and check under dialling that the enable idle disconnect has not been set to 10mins, just uncheck the box to disable it.
