I have registered at their forums three times and for whatever reason they fail to send the email explaining how to activate the account to be able to post in the forum but being able to read it I find everyone having problems with the new version 5.5. |

I could not really read the page, in a foreign language, and it looked like it said liscense was 39.95, but I took it anyway. Untill I see in sygate forums that 5.5 is working I refuse to d/l it. I just barely can figure out the other one. I had thought about going to zone alarm but I cringe at trying to figure out how to make new stuff work. |

Sygate Firewall
Hello everyone;
Since Sygate has been sold to Symantec and they have chosen to discontinue the Sygate Firewall lines is there any chance it will be offered here in the future? I have the last three versions already but I think others would like it too. It's easy to use and configure and quite effective. I've put it to the test. Since it has been sold and discontinued Sygate no longer has a DIRECT link. Redirect points to Symantec which says it's no longer available. I know you can still find it on a few sites for now as the changeover is recent. But would it be possible to offer it at this site for future downloads? If so I can provide a link for all freeware versions but only if it's legal to do so. Thankyou. |

Sygate Personal Firewall version 5.5.2710
This was perhaps the last best free version of Sygate's Firewall. If you password protect it, chances are great that it will hold up. I was ready to purchase full version, but after 30 day trial of version 5.6, backed off because of lots of issues. I would offer this to the site, if oldversion.com owners want it. Your site has helped us alot in the past.
