looked everywhere i can think of. can't find V4. if you can help answer please.

Assuming you mean the Demo/Tryout version (actually 4.01 or 4.01b):

Possibly the last great art program that would run on Windows 3.1, as well as 95 (even supported long filenames on 95).
This version is only limited in that it cannot save or print. It doesn't expire after 30 days.

I have an original 4.0 disk that I bought on eBay just after v5 came out. I'd be happy to ship it to you for $2 to cover the cost of a mailer and postage. If you are interested, please let me know.

Hi I am looking for the old adobe Photoshop version 3 my old man uses it
just got a new system ,as it on the old 166 but missing 1 disk tried version 5 , 6 and 7 he don't like changes
