Nevermind, found it finally at tucows. B)
Many sites claiming to offer 1.5a [License: Freeware] for download but turned out to be 2.4b [shareware].

http://www.tucows.com/preview/195050.html

great site by the way.

You can do screen-caps for free, without adding any additional software to your system too.
Just press the Print Screen button on the keyboard. When you see something you want to screen-cap (limitation is whole desktop is captured) then open MS Paint, and paste.
This will take the buffer (the screen shot from the Print Screen) and paste into the program, then just edit as you need.
Not the simplest or most elegant way of doing this, but it works.

I tryed this program and didn't like the way it keeps it's control panel in the middle of your captures. Here is a better Screen capture program:

http://www.almac.co.uk/personal/tdocherty/...2/downloads.htm

As this program is designed to send screen captures to your printer by default you need to re-configure its settings.

Instructions

After installing sprint32.exe you'll see an icon beside your clock saying ScreenPrint32 is Enabled when you hover your mouse pointer over it.

Right click on this icon and left click Configure.

Click on Print Options tab and click off Enable Printing.

Click on Save Options tab and click on Save Captured Area to Disk.

Click the arrow beside white box under filename and set to Prompt user for filename

Pick type of save format for pic
(jpg and gif able to be viewed by most pic viewers)

Use Browse to set folder to save your screen captures to

Click OK

Now press the Print Screen key when you want to capture something on the screen.
