Program Name: A43 File Manager
Website: http://www.shawneelink.net/~bgmiller/
Current version: 2.34
Desired versions: 2.33
Description: A43 is a freeware file management utility for Windows 2000/XP.

v2.33 was compatible w/Win9x too...;-)
As oppose to freewares like 2xExplorer, A43 can open ZIP/RAR files, and doesn't clutter the registry.

* Tried to search these forums first, but "A43" is less than 4 characters.

TIA!

Similar thread for file managers, some freeware and shareware titles.

Thank you very much for the help, you're great!!!
Not only I tried to search these forums, but the entire web! I though I tried everything, but apparently I skipped the "try another language and/or different package (tried zip, not sfx) filename" method...

I really like this "Old Version" concept, and I appreciate you help very much; there are few things I didn't quite understand, so please tell me what was wrong:

1. why was my original topic title/desc. altered? (was "A43 File Manager v2.33"/"v2.34+ no longer compatible w/Win9x...")

2.

^^^ I didn't understand that remark...

I did try to follow the rules (and thanks for the feedback about the useful formatting), but I saw nothing there regarding to topic title/desc...

Anyway, no big deal I hope thanks again for such a quick & kind help!

The topic/description was edited to make it less version specific.
If each thread pertained to a single version then there would be way too many threads dealing with the same application, just different version #'s, and this would be a mess in the long run.
Since not everyone would seek out the version they are requesting in a previous thread, and go ahead and start a new one.

The description was altered to define what sort of app is being sought. A description based on a user issue does not apply to all users.
