EDIT: I think I'll go with Winamp 2.95. The bugfixes alone are nice.

I couldn't find if there is a bootup window, like in the 3-series. Is there? Because, that's what turns me off of 3.

Does anyone have the installation files for this? I have it already installed but I would like the install files too. Everyone seems to be using 2.95, I have been using 2.98 for who knows how long now and I really don't feel like going backwards (it'd only really happen if all 3 of my computers died at once...) but yeah.

Are you sure about Winamp 2.98? As far as I know, there was never a Winamp 2.98, unless you have some leaked, internal, developer-only version.

Of couse, you could always check Winamp Heaven for a list of alot of old Winamp versions.
