Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can find the Windows update cd's that were out last year for Windows 98se, ME & 2K.

I'm looking for the offical cd's that Microsoft was mailing out for FREE last year. I was too slow and missed them all.

I got sp2 though

I'm still on dialup and getting updates after a reformat are terribly slow.

Or if you have any inside information that MS may be releasing new update cd's soon for 98se, ME & 2k that would be nice to know. I would even be willing to pay for them if anyone knows where I could get the offical MS cd's through the mail (snailmail that is).

I once tried to make my own cd's by going to Microsoft.com and forget it, it's too complicated for me. I just want to get the cd's from MS or someone else through the mail.

i have seen these on www.ebay.com recently for next to nothing well worth having if you do a lot of pc restoring

Yeah, thanks Guest. That's a good place to look, but from what I've seen only sp2 for xp is available. Which is really funny because you can still walk in some computer stores and they still have them on the shelf for FREE. Amazing the things people sell on Ebay!

Yeah, thanks Guest. That's a good place to look, but from what I've seen only sp2 for xp is available. Which is really funny because you can still walk in some computer stores and they still have them on the shelf for FREE. Amazing the things people sell on Ebay!

I don’t know if it is of any help for you, but you can order SP4 for Win 2000 from MS here.
