very vague indeed,can you think of any of the program name that would help ? try this link and have a look down the page at ABC lock it may just cover your needs even if it is not the exact title you requested, there are many many freeware apps that will do the same kind of thing and it could be very very difficult to find the correct one unless we have a name or someone uses that particular app and knows it from the description.
