Download.com only lists the latest versions.
Then tell me why they still have Netscape Communicator (32-bit Base Install) 4.79, Netscape Communicator (32-bit Complete Install) 4.79, Netscape Navigator Standalone (16-bit) 4.08, and Netscape Navigator Standalone (32-bit) 4.08 which are listed on the Netscape page. [/b][/quote]
I don't understand why, but they probably won't have those versions on a later date.

What I don't understand is why Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 is in the Extended Support phase and Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2 isn't.

That's because that there is a security issue that has been fixed when they released 5.5 SP2. And Microsoft doesn't like to provide support for old products like Windows 95.

We don't archive newer versions because the massive file size. However, I would point you to http://browsers.evolt.org , they have a great browser archive.
