You would benefit greatly by looking through the past postings, and you have have found an answer, therefore you would not have had to wait for a reply. Since the question has been repeatedly answered for many similar browsers.

Internet Explorer 5.5 is the last version known to work with Windows 95. It would be a big credit to the online community if this was made available somehow. Microsoft no longer provides download links or support for this product, however.

Does anyone know of a site that i can download Internet Explorer 5.01 for free. Also i would like to know how many megabytes it would be if there is a site with it on it for free.
