I dont really know what your guys rules are so sorry...

But the special features iam looking for is i just like using it better than 5.0 which i use now.

Therese you are correct, it is retail software.
you can still obtain qbasic from your old win95 cd's if you want to mess with some old basic. but, without purchase you can't legally obtain Visual Basic.

if you really need a visual basic program you might want to consider using a distro of Linux or a *BSD derivative, and obtaining one of the GPL'd, freeware Visual Basic replacements.

Try maxcode.com, it has a vb 3.0 download for learning purposes only.

Can you guys please help me, I am looking for a prog to edit vb with and then save as a .exe file. I am not ripping someone elses work btw, this is for personal use only. I have tried Neoscripter trial but it doesnt have the ability to save as .exe. I cant afford the money to buy visual studio (latest) and I am wondering if you know of older versions or an old program that does the same thing.

Maxcode.com has a vb3 downloa. Try lunix and a linux vb clone-they;'re free, vb isn't./
