Does anyone know where I can get an old version of Java? The new version (that puts the java symbol in the taskbar and makes the java symbol appear when loading something) makes all of my java programs work very very slowly on my old pc, making me unable to play PopCap and Yahoo! games. Can anyone give me the old version? Any help would be appreciated.

Go here:

http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

I would suggest getting the off line download. That way you can burn the install to a CD to back it up

www.virtualmachine.tk has both versions, the Sun Java and MS Java virtual machines, with detailed instructions on which one you should use.
