I guess I just need a Java, I don't really know much about Java. I am mostly into games and Hardware, some software, but not much.

I would NOT reccomend putting Sun Java on here. It really sucks! Even though Java VM is made by Sun it is better made.

Just a thought.

I don't know how old of a version you want or whether you need MS or Sun?

I have the next to most recent Sun java v1.4.1_01 still.

Ever since Microsoft has no longer been able to distribute new copies of it's JVM I have seen several posts on the MS Windows Update newsgroup with addresses of sites that still have it for download. I have no idea if all of these were the most recent or there may have been older versions too.

Good luck in your search.

Does anyone have install files for the Java Runtime Environment for Windows 95? The current JRE install file at Sun is for Win98 and up only. I hate people that don't consider us non-Rockefellers that can't afford the latest in technogeekery.
